Classes

I offer an ongoing private class that is held at various locations around Sonoma County and is for all levels of ability. These classes are held in six-week sessions and cover different aspects of painting and drawing: Drawing the Figure, Portrait Drawing, Outdoor Landscape and Still Life. Volunteering in the public schools teaching art every year is something I really enjoy. This is a mural project in a 6th grade class at Sequoia Elementary School in Santa Rosa. We created a large grid on paper across the black wall of the classroom. The students chose which gods they wanted to portray and then they worked on individual sections. They finished the mural by signing their name in hieroglyphics. It's wonderful to see the pride they develop as they work.
